Holistic Therapies treat the whole of the person which includes the body, mind and spirit, They are key to relaxation and inner calm. These wonderful therapies will leave you feeling relaxed, stress free and relieved of any physical or emotional tension.

Each session begins with a consultation lasting between 10-15mins. This is so I can establish information about your health, lifestyle and how you are feeling at the moment. Also I can adapt the massage to suit your needs and treat you in a holistic way.  Towels are used at all times and only the body part being massaged at that particular time will be uncovered.

You can be assured your modesty, confidentiality and welfare will be of the utmost importance.  At the end of your treatment there will be a short discussion about aftercare, so you can gain maximum benefit from treatment,

What is Swedish Body Massage and how does it work?

Swedish Body Massage refers to a variety of techniques designed to relax muscles by applying pressure. It involves stroking, kneading, hacking and vibrations. Gentle massage can trigger the release of endorphins, the body's natural painkillers and induce a feeling of comfort and well-being. A more firmer massage may help with tense and uncomfortable muscles, ease stiff joints and improve flexibility and mobility.

Aromatherapy Massage


What is Aromatherapy and how does it work?

Aromatherapy is the use of essential oils to help improve physical and emotional well-being. It aims to treat the whole person by taking into account not only their physical state but also their emotions. It works on the principle that the most effective way to promote health and prevent illness is to strengthen the body's immune system and this helps to restore harmony between the mind and body. The combination of massage and the medicinal and therapeutic qualities of essential oils can soothe, revitalise, uplift and encourage positive thinking enabling the body to heal itself.  Essential oils are found in

What is Reflexology and how does it work?

Reflexology is a holistic healing technique that involves using the thumb and fingers to apply pressure to the feet. There are points on the feet that relate to the organs, nerves, glands and the systems of the body. There are known as reflex points. The feet mirror the body and so the organs are mapped out onto the foot. The right foot reflects the right side of the body and the left foot represents the left side of the body. When these points are stimulated by applying pressure it can unblock energy and create balance and harmony. Reflexology is not a therapy used to diagnose illness. It does not cure - only the body can do that. Instead it facilitates healing within the body.

Ear Candle Therapy

Ear Candling is a centuries old method of bringing health to the ear, nose, throat and the sinuses of the body. It is a  gentle and relaxing experience carried out using hollow tubes known as ear candles. Ear Candling loosens ear wax and is beneficial to the upper respiratory tract, circulation and lymphatic systems. It is a whole body treatment and has amazing effects through it's simplicity.

The healing properties of ear candles are based two physical actions of the candle. Firstly it acts as chimney effect inside the ear and the vibration of the rising air massages the eardrum to promote secretion of the nasal sinuses, producing a soothing, light sensation in the ears and head. The warmth of the candle stimulates the immune system and reinforces the flow of lymph.
